Following negotiations with the local planning authority Coltham secured planning consent for the conversion of the main building and adjacent barns to residential use. Coltham sold on the properties with the benefit of the residential consent to a local house builder.

Coltham Purchased the 46,451 sq m (500,000 sq ft) industrial/office premises from Moulinex and following disposal of the manufacturing accommodation, Coltham refurbished the 3,484 sq m (37,500 sq ft) office block, attracting multiple occupiers including Midland Area Housing & Birmingham Rep Theatre. On expiry of the occupational lease, Coltham disposed of the facility to Perry Beeches Free School now the Jewellery Quarter Academy.
